Dungeon Master Bios

Mike Tinny, Mystery DM Revealed (Hardcore Mode - 36h of D&D instead of 24h)
An industry veteran, Mike’s first projects included the Mind's Eye Theater system for White Wolf and also the Street Fighter RPG, both released in the 90’s. Mike went on to manage a variety of departments at White Wolf and ultimately became CEO of the company in 2002. The list of games Mike’s contributed to and influenced is too long to list, but he is a consummate fan of the hobby and the RPG experience. Plus, if you buy him a beer, he’ll tell you stories.
'The Sins of the Fathers'
Hardcore mode players will play through an epic multi generational campaign spanning 3 generations of adventurers spanning roughly 80-90 years. Each generation will have the spotlight on one of the 12 hour days. Players will create children / wards during and in between games and prep the next generation of adventurers heading into both the second and third days of gaming. Special mechanics will be used during these transitions which will allow players some level of continuance from one generation to the next. Campaign levels will vary from day to day, but players should come prepared to level their characters at a minimum of 6 times and in some cases, time will pass and multiple levels will be skipped.
The hardcore playing group will also need to be prepared to have meals together as breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be used to discuss and roleplay life events during this epic span of time. In spite of the long days of gaming, there may also be “homework” for players in between games.
Are you ready for hardcore mode?

Rachel Seeley
Rachel Seeley is a member of the D&D show "Girls Guts Glory" and can be seen on various Geek & Sundry, Critical Role, or Wizards of the Coast content as host, player, or Dungeon Master. Rachel Seeley’s games are all about story. She wants to know about her players and the types of stories they love to hear, and she tries to create something from that. If you want a DM who takes their inspiration from classics like Legend or Willow, then that's Rachel. She likes big sweeping stories with a bit of darkness to them, while still finding the hope in the end. Rachel hopes to ultimately make you feel something.

The GM Tim
Proud queer advocate within the gaming community, this Theatre-of-the-Mind Game Master runs multiple regular private campaigns for groups around the world. Tim is also honoured to be an adventure writer for the D&D Adventurers League, a regular judge at conventions and a GM Mentor for Baldman Games. In his brand he streams Star Trek: Lost Voyages—a Liveplay Star Trek Adventures game—on Twitch, hosts a monthly Book Club that celebrates diversity and inspiration for tabletop role players, be they GMs or Player Characters, and GMs Fierce Adventures—a monthly live D&D Drag sh
ow. Tim's theatre of the mind style leaves you blissfully exhausted and wanting more. With an unwavering enthusiasm, The GM Tim weaves a story and world together with the players - he's even been known to use castle rooms to set up a scene or a combat rather than a map. Character creation and group cohesion often start months before the event. In the games you'll get a full range of levels as you start low and work your way up through the various sessions.

Nur-D
Rapper, Singer, Song Writer, Content Creator, Activist, and long time Game Master Nur-D has been a student of the art of D&D since way back when 3.5 was the hot new version on the block.
Creating “D10k” Minnesotas first live theater style improv Dungeons & Dragons show back in 2020 Nur-D has catapulted into the TTRPG world in a big way. A featured player at GenCon 2022’s “TikTok TTRPG Creators” event as well as a member of an all star panel on TTRPG music at PAX Unplugged 2022 Nur-D has found his way to connect with the tabletop community over and over again. Seen across multiple live plays on twitch and even producing some hit songs like "20 Cha" & "TPK" all about the best game there is! The Interactive experience that is “Skyland: Fall Of The Cloud Nations” brings a packed show every time and alongside his personal DJ, plenty of props, and lots of audience help, Nur-D is changing the way many people think about what TTRPGs can be. A DM with over 15 years of experience under his belt Nur-D has found a brand new way to take his love for the game to the next level and is incredibly excited to bring his unique style of game running to the hallowed halls of D&D In A Castle.

B. Dave Walters
B. Dave Walters is a Storyteller & proud Scoundrel American. He is best known as the writer of Dungeons & Dragons: A Darkened Wish for IDW comics, and creator and DM of the Shadow of the Red Rage streaming show for Wizards of the Coast. High level, high emotion; you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll crit. B. Dave Walters specializes in campaigns where there are no throw away characters. You’ll have the power to destroy a city but will think twice about fireballing a goblin just trying to feed its family.
