Dungeon Master Bios
Nur-D
Rapper, Singer, Song Writer, Content Creator, Activist, and long time Game Master Nur-D has been a student of the art of D&D since way back when 3.5 was the hot new version on the block.
Creating “D10k” Minnesotas first live theater style improv Dungeons & Dragons show back in 2020 Nur-D has catapulted into the TTRPG world in a big way. A featured player at GenCon 2022’s “TikTok TTRPG Creators” event as well as a member of an all star panel on TTRPG music at PAX Unplugged 2022 Nur-D has found his way to connect with the tabletop community over and over again. Seen across multiple live plays on twitch and even producing some hit songs like "20 Cha" & "TPK" all about the best game there is! The Interactive experience that is “Skyland: Fall Of The Cloud Nations” brings a packed show every time and alongside his personal DJ, plenty of props, and lots of audience help, Nur-D is changing the way many people think about what TTRPGs can be. A DM with over 15 years of experience under his belt Nur-D has found a brand new way to take his love for the game to the next level and is incredibly excited to bring his unique style of game running to the hallowed halls of D&D In A Castle.
The GM Tim
Proud queer advocate within the gaming community, this Theatre-of-the-Mind Game Master runs multiple regular private campaigns for groups around the world. Tim is also honoured to be an adventure writer for the D&D Adventurers League, a regular judge at conventions and a GM Mentor for Baldman Games. In his brand he streams Star Trek: Lost Voyages—a Liveplay Star Trek Adventures game—on Twitch, hosts a monthly Book Club that celebrates diversity and inspiration for tabletop role players, be they GMs or Player Characters, and GMs Fierce Adventures—a monthly live D&D Drag show. Tim's theatre of the mind style leaves you blissfully exhausted and wanting more. With an unwavering enthusiasm, The GM Tim weaves a story and world together with the players - he's even been known to use castle rooms to set up a scene or a combat rather than a map. Character creation and group cohesion often start months before the event. In the games you'll get a full range of levels as you start low and work your way up through the various sessions.
